Canon announced a print speed of 18 pages per minute (ppm) for the MF3010. However, we only measured 12 ppm. Therefore MF3010 gets four stars in this field, largely aided by the printer response (see inset).
Print speed is slower than black and white multifunction printers other lasers we've tested lately-print at 18 ppm X464DE Lexmark, Samsung SCX-3405W prints at 19 ppm, and the Brother MFC-7860DW manage 27 ppm.
Paper feed tray can take up to 150 sheets. Supports various types of media (recycled paper, transparencies, labels, envelopes, etc.) and can be adapted to a variety of formats (A4, B5, A5, envelopes, etc.).
Print quality is quite decent. It was fine for printing text, in fact. However, for images and other graphics, this printer soon reach its limit lines lose some of their sharpness, affecting overall precision.
